Fantastischer Trip in die Wüste
angelika_J, Apr. 2022
Atemlose Aussichten.
Toller Besuch in Marokko
Wonderful experience
John_I, Nov. 2022
The whole experience was wonderful. Great company in our group of 8 people, amazing to see the Atlas Mountains and the camel ride was lots of fun (if slightly bumpy).
Very worthwhile and inexpensive fun trip

Visit to Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, location for many famous films, staying overnight in the Berber camp, camel rides at dusk and down, company of new friends and helpful guides

The driver Azis and the staff at the camp were great and friendly. Riding through the desert at sunset and watching the stars from the camp was a wonderful experience. The tour through Aid Ben Haddou was the only thing I didn't like - I felt rushed, it was all about stopping for a photo here and there and then trying to sell us a scarf from from a very particular shop.
Amazing trip!
Karolina_L, Okt. 2022
My partner and I had the best time on this trip. Everything was arranged perfectly, including the pick up & drop off and all the little stops and excursions in between. It was a full on experience but we found the balance between relaxing and walking around was just right! The camp truly exceeded our expectations - I would recommend camping in Zagora to anyone who is short on time but is curious to experience the culture, food and the desert at night.

The experience was great and a must have for someone who is staying in Marrakesh. The landscape is totally different, and beautiful. The sand, the camels, the views, the night, this is real Marrocco. Our drive/guide from Marrakesh Travel Service, Mehdi was the best. Super friendly and showed us aot of nice landscapes! He was the best, anda very careful driver! Hamed, on the desert was super nice as well. Everything perfect
Unforgettable

Watching the sun set in the desert from camelback is definitely an experience I will treasure forever! The whole night in the camp was really wonderful, due in large part to the hard work of the Berber guides. It is a long drive to get there, but our driver Hamid did an excellent job and made plenty of stops for water/bathroom breaks. You will need to come prepared with lots of cash for lunch, extra tours and tips for all the various guides (expect to pay an extra 50 Euro per person the two days at least), but it was definitely worth it.
One of a kind experience!
Josh_N, Aug. 2022
This was an amazing trip! We were picked up promptly at 7:20am from our hotel and were very impressed by the air-conditioned transport. The small group of people made it a more personable experience. Lots of stops on the way to see sights, take photos, get food and most importantly water. Definitely bring cash as it'll be useful for water at every stop, tips for guides and toilets often require some small change also. There was a 1-2 hour tour of a Berber village followed by lunch which weren't included in the tour price, but were optional. The camel ride through the desert was a great experience. Once we arrived at the camp we were served tea and biscuits followed by dinner. The food and hospitality was exceptional. Traditional music after dinner was a real treat, we got to try the instruments and were encouraged to join in the dancing. We set off on the camels, after a refreshing breakfast, just after 8am. The return bus journey was almost as long, but did include some additional optional stops. We arrived back in Marrakesh between 5pm - 6pm.
Beautiful Barber Camp - Long Trip!
Suha_S, Juli 2022
The trip was amazing! Seeing the barber camp, friendly hosts and the night sky with stars in the desert was absolutely magical! On the other hand, since the road itself takes 6 hours (-if it's non stop- first day trip took 11 hours in total, coming back took around 7-8 with lunch and visit stops), we stayed in the dessert with a limited amount of time. İf you are with a time straint, this would work fine, going to Sahara takes much much more time. Overall, it was a very good experience with joyful barber hosts and beautiful desert( very cute camels that likes to be petted as well :) ). And special thanks to our driver, Eddie Hicham, for making the road trip more bearable with the always positive attitude and fast/safe driving! Definitely must see.
A very nice trip!
Marin_T, Juli 2022
Our driver was very kind and helpful. Also the van was comfortable and with AC. We had plenty of toilet and coffee breaks. I liked the one hour camel ride to the camp and the fact that as a small group we had the camp basically to ourselves. The camp site was also very comfortable (the beds, shower etc). However, the tour can be a bit touristy sometimes (certain museums for extra fee, restaurants with tourist prices, typical sights to take photos etc). With small groups, I suggest taking them to alternative places and restaurants, they will appreciate it much more and reward it accordingly 🙂 But all in all, it was a good experience and you get what you expect.
A fantastic trip nothing like this
Ryota_I, Juli 2022
The tour was really amazing. We went through mountains and many beautiful villages to get to Zagora desert. Our bus driver Ibrahim was really friendly and very helpful. The camel ride was more shaking and thrilling than I had expected but it was a fantastic experience. The best part of the trip for me was see the sunrise from the top of the desert. It was so beautiful that we were speechless. Although this tour takes 7 hours of bus ride to get to desert, which made all of us exhausted, it’s very much worth visiting and highly recommended to anyone who likes nature, Moroccan culture, and adventure! Bon voyage:)

Our driver was Mustafa, a very kindly person who was explaining every detail on the places, cultures what we were visiting. Its a long trip with the van, but always making some stops every 2h aprox, to visit villages, take some teas/coffees, have lunch... We visited some interesting places like Uarzazate and Ksar ai Ben Hadu. The night in the desert was cool merting some berebers who were very friendly with all of us.
Full Moroccan Experience!

Amazing experience
Laurence_S, Apr. 2022
Pick up time very prompt. Unfortunately other people travelling in our van were not and we had to wait 45 minutes at another location for them to arrive and then we were running late the whole day. The other people were continually slow and late getting back to the bus on stops - it was a shame that we had to share the trip with them Scenery stunning. A bit more explanation of sights / areas we passed and itinerary to set expectations would have been helpful. Tour guide good. Driver Hamil navigated difficult roads and long hours extremely well and was polite and helpful. Bus was extremely clean We arrived late due to issues previously mentioned so virtually missed sunset. Camels had already started without us and less time therefore in camp Camp experience was fantastic, cannot fault in any way. Welcoming, entertaining, good food and brilliant with kids aged between 8-14
Driver, Guide and Trip Excellent!

David H, Sept. 2016
It was horrible! -The bus has no air conditioner and the seat was very uncomfortable. -In the morning we spend an hour in Marrakesh and waiting to our bus driver. -Our guide was completely unnecessary... he speaks mostly spanish, he only translate to us some information if we asked it. The second day he doesn't come back with us to Marrakesh, and the bus driver did not speak english, so we couldn't communicate to anyone. -In your description there is absolutely NO information about how long the journey is! It was 9 hours bus trip each day!!! PLUS THE STOPS! -In the bus trip we didn't see the historical castle that you promised. -Our dinner in Ouarzazate city was extremly expensive, small and bad... Our guide recommended this horrible restaurant. -WE MISSED THE SUNSET, because the bus stopped so many place just because they want us to buy something everywhere... You promised us that we will be able to view the amazing panoramic sunset. This was one of the main reason why we went to the desert and you're ruined it! We spent our money to see the sunset in the desert and we got nothing.... Oh, and the dunes of Zagora is not similar to the picture that you show in your description! -The camel ride was half hour each day... not 2 hours like you promised! -At the camp we get the dinner after 10 o'clock... and it was awful. -The typical berber breakfast was stale bread, butter and some jam... -On the way back to Marrakesh, at the first stop the bus driver pick up a stranger who paid for him. I didn't feel safe. You are not keep what you're promised in your description, so in my opinion it was a customer deception. I paid 160 USD for this trip, I want 80 USD back, because I didn't get what I expect!
